Woman arrested

YOUNGSTOWN

A woman whose dog chewed up someone’s trash Sunday morning ended up going to jail on two warrants.

Police were called to the 500 block of Mabel Avenue about 10 a.m. Sunday, where a woman said a dog belonging to her neighbor, 28-year-old Danielle N. Sutton, got loose and chewed up her trash. When police contacted Sutton, she assured officers she would clean up the trash, reports said.

Officers were called back, however, because Sutton did not clean up the mess, reports said. Police then did a records check and found Sutton was wanted on a failure-to-appear warrant in municipal court and a felony theft warrant from Mahoning County Area Court in Boardman.

Sutton was taken to the Mahoning County jail on the warrants after officers gave her time to make arrangements to have someone watch her five children, reports said.
