Services planned today for 4 killed in Ohio house fire

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio (AP) — Services are set for a woman and her three grandsons killed in an early morning house fire.

Visitation was this morning followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. for 60-year-old Terry Harris and the boys: 14-year-old Kenyon, 11-year-old Broderick and 9-year-old Braylon Harris.

Police said they wanted to spend Christmas night with their grandmother so she wouldn’t be alone. Her single-story, ranch-style house was destroyed last Friday morning. The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s office says investigation into the cause continuing.

Services are at Heritage Memorial Church in Washington Court House.

There are several efforts under way to raise memorial contributions and funds to support the family. More events are being planned in the Fayette County community some 40 miles southwest of Columbus.
