POW! Crooks make off with Batman-themed party supplies

AUSTINTOWN — Miscellaneous Batman-themed party supplies were taken Saturday morning from Party On, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

According to a police report, a male and female left the store with $241 worth of the superhero-themed party supplies without paying for them and left quickly in a vehicle from Austintown Plaza Saturday.

Officers called to the store searched for the vehicle shortly before noon Saturday, but did not find the car. Township detectives are investigating.
