Pa. State Police probe man's death as homicide

NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — State Police are investigating a 25-year-old man’s death as a homicide.

Joseph Carl Pagley III was found dead at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in his residence at 3 Kenneth Ave. by acquaintances after they were unable to contact him.

There does not appear to have been a forced entry to the residence, and the incident appears to be a targeted act, as opposed to a random act of violence, police said.

An autopsy was set for noon today, and State Police were releasing no further information this morning.
