Man, woman in custody after taking SUV

YOUNGSTOWN — A man and a woman were taken into custody about 10:45 a.m. today after leading police on a chase from the South Side to the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Police said the pair took an SUV from a gas station at Market and Myrtle avenues. It is unclear how they took it but it was left running across the street from the hospital with the keys inside.

The owner was taken to the hospital and identified the man and woman.
