19-year-old Warren man shot in leg on Saturday

WARREN — A 19-year-old city man was shot in the leg at 12:11 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Burton Street.

The man, of a different Warren address, was shot once in the leg and was taken to VallleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital, police said.

A witness said she was standing in the kitchen when she heard four or five shots from outside of the house.

She then grabbed a 7-year-old girl off of the couch and carried her to the kitchen.

Police observed two bullet holes in the front of the house near the living room, they said.
