West Side arrests
YOUNGSTOWN
Police arrested a man on obstruction charges about 5:10 a.m. Saturday at a West Side home while looking for an aggravated-burglary suspect. Reports said police were at a home in the 1900 block of Ridgelawn Avenue looking for Samuel Johntony, 24, who was accused of bursting into a home in the 2000 block of Chaney Circle earlier and breaking things inside. The homeowners told police Johntony was there, but William Fox, 21, who lived there, first put on Johntony’s clothes and walked outside, then stood in a doorway and refused to let police in. Fox was arrested for obstruction of justice and Johntony was found in the home and arrested for aggravated burglary and two warrants. Both were taken to the Mahoning County jail.

Officers were called to a home in the 3200 block of Oak Street about 3:30 a.m. for a report of a fight between two women and one ramming her car into another one. When police got there, they found 21-year-old Virgen Bonilla arguing with another woman. The other woman told police Bonilla had stopped at her home, argued with her, then rammed her car several times. Bonilla would not stop yelling at the woman as police tried to question them.
