Browns lose season finale to Ravens
BALTIMORE Joe Flacco was 8 of 9 for 161 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter as the Baltimore Ravens rallied to beat the Cleveland Browns, 20-10, on Sunday.
The Ravens needed a win and help to make the playoffs and got both as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Diego Chargers, 19-7.
The Browns took a 10-3 lead into the fourth quarter behind rookie quarterback Connor Shaw, who was forced into action by injuries to Johnny Manziel and Brian Hoyer.
But the Ravens (10-6) got a field goal from Justin Tucker and Flacco threw TD passes of 16 yards to Torrey Smith and 2 yards to Kamar Aiken to rally Baltimore.
The Browns lost their last five games to finish 7-9.
In addition to Manziel and Hoyer, the Browns were without wide receiver Josh Gordon and cornerback Justin Gilbert. Both were suspended. Gordon missed a Saturday morning walk-through before the team left for Baltimore and Gilbert was late for a meeting Saturday night at the team's hotel.
