CANFIELD

Dec. 5

Warrant: Police arrested Joseph Newman, 63, of Woodbine Street, Youngstown, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant charging him with failure to appear.

Dec. 6

Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested Michael Porterfield, 25, of Woodbine Street, Warren, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 7

Drug possession: Police arrested Britney Lude, 19, of Akron-Canfield Road, Ellsworth, on charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 10

Drug possession: Police arrested Rodney Hebert, 48,of Akron-Canfield Road, Canfield, on charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia.

AUSTINTOWN

Dec. 8

Warrant: Police arrested David Latimer, 39, of Halls Heights, Youngstown, on six warrants charging him with theft at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave., and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He also was arrested on two warrants charging theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. He is accused of stealing $119.95 in merchandise. He also is charged him with theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls and messages were reported at a home in the 20 block of South Beverly Avenue.

Lost or stolen property: A UPS package was lost or stolen from the front porch of a home in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Theft/recovered property: Electronics were taken and then recovered at Radio Shack, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Melissa Klema, 51, of South Raccoon Road, on a warrant charging felony theft.

Theft: Five credit cards and three lottery tickets were taken at Hollywood Gaming, 777 Hollywood Drive.

Dec. 9

Bad check: A check for $1,000 was written on a closed account at Greenwood Chevrolet.

Criminal damaging: A student’s iPod was damaged at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.

Fraud: An unauthorized charge was made to a Visa credit card that belonged to a person living at a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A staff cellphone was stolen at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was egged at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Arrest: Police arrested Brian Schrupp, 24, of Lisbon Road, Salem, on a charge of obstructing official business.

Warrant: Police arrested Jason Averill, 24, of Idlewood Road, on a warrant charging him with domestic violence.

Warrant: Police arrested Vernon Baudin, 39, of North Park Avenue, Bristolville, was arrested on a warrant charging him with theft at Hydrochem, 428 Thatcher Lane.

Theft: A Carhart jacket was stolen at Tractor Supply, 6225 Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 10

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Rickie Williams, 21, of South Truesdale Avenue, Youngstown, with criminal trespassing in the 900 block of Compass West.

Theft: An unauthorized charge of $100 was made to a Chase account at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Recovered property: An Ohio license, a check and three other identifications were lost and recovered by store employees at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Patient abuse: A 46-year-old male patient reported being abused at Gateways, 1398 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Attempted theft: A juvenile male attempted to gain entry to vehicles at Deer Creek Apartments, 4569 Kirk Road.

Criminal trespassing: Two females used false identification information to access the gaming floor at Hollywood Gaming, 777 Hollywood Drive.

Theft: A juvenile caught stealing was released to his mother at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: An Xbox, two controllers, three games and Xbox Kinect were stolen at a home in the 100 block of N. Roanoke Avenue.

Criminal damage: A window of a vehicle was broken at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Blvd.

Dec. 11

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel Bosak, 24, of Indianola Avenue, Youngstown, on three warrants for fines and costs on charges of drug abuse, drug paraphernalia, and possession of pills and various miscellaneous substances.

Theft: Retractors were stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Samantha Stenger, 19, of Oberlin Place, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to DeWayne Armstrong, 44, of West Evergreen Avenue, Youngstown, charging him with disorderly conduct.

Warrant: Police arrested Virginia Liccardi, 37, of Rex Boulevard, Warren, on a warrant for a traffic violation and wrongful entrustment.

Warrant: Police arrested Emanuel Tolbert, 37, of Concord Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant from Cuyahoga County charging failure to appear in Juvenile Court.

Dec. 12

Drug offense: Police arrested Dyllon Pifer, 22, of Orchard Avenue, Warren, on a drug offense and issued a summons to him on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges and ATM fees were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Starwick Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Lyndsey Martin, 19, of Rosemont Avenue, on a Youngstown bench warrant on charges of failure to appear on criminal trespassing and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Drug offense: Police arrested Lorenzo Hilton, 25, of East Judson Avenue, Youngstown, on a summons charging him with possession of marijuana.

Dec. 13

Warrant: Police arrested Tracy Clink, 35, of Kensington Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant charging failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken and a purse taken at Harbor Freight, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police arrested Corey Helms, 21, of 230 W. Dennick Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of theft. Police accused him of taking $222.34 in food and clothes from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A window was broken out of an auto and a purse taken at Bob Evans, 1100 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Two females took children’s clothing at J.C. Penney.

Dec. 14

Warrant: Police arrested Antoine Davis, 20, of Elm Trace, on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on charges of domestic violence, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Theft: Christmas decorations were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: Food was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Attempted auto theft: A vehicle window was smashed out and the steering column damaged when it was parked at a home in the 1000 block of North Meridian Road.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Rocco Seminara, 63, of Nantucket Drive, on a charge of domestic violence.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Tina Wilson, 42, of Parkman Road, Warren, for theft and possession of pills and issued a summons to Carrie Wilson, 19, same address, on a charge of theft.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Avenue.

Robbery: A woman’s purse was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of North Meridian Road.
