Grant pays for lending telescopes

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Columbiana Library and the Mahoning Valley Astronomical Society received a $2,000 grant from the Columbiana Community Foundation to purchase six small telescopes and supplies, which will be made available to Columbiana Library patrons. Members of the MVAS have modified the telescopes so they are more user friendly. Patrons will be permitted to check out a telescope for two weeks at a time.
