Three face charges in child-sex crimes
YOUNGSTOWN
Federal and local law enforcement authorities arrested three people in Mahoning County for alleged sex crimes against children on Tuesday and Wednesday, The Vindicator’s news partner, 21 WFMJ-TV, reported.
Lee Hanscom, 68, of Berlin Center was arrested by U.S. marshals Tuesday on a charge of gross sexual imposition. He is in the Mahoning County jail after a Mahoning County grand jury indictment alleged that he had sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl. He is scheduled to be in court Tuesday for arraignment.
Christopher Yocum, 22, of Youngstown was arrested Wednesday after authorities said he had sexual contact with a minor.
Fabian Donjuan, 20, of Youngstown was indicted after being accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old. Donjuan is free on bond pending an appearance before a judge Monday.

A man was arrested on his eighth charge of operating a vehicle while impaired, police said.
Jimmy Torres, 28, of Youngstown, was initially stopped by police after callers alerted authorities to a suspicious car, Youngstown police said. He stopped at Ferndale Avenue and Hillman Street at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, then began driving again. He eventually stopped again in the 400 block of Ferndale Avenue, where he got out of his car and tried to run from officers.
Authorities chased and apprehended him. Torres registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.316, nearly four times the legal limit of 0.08.
