Police find woman passed out in car in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — Police reports say a woman officers found passed out in a car early Tuesday morning has two warrants dating back nine and seven years, respectively.

Police were called about 3:30 a.m. to 100 Division St. Ext., in front of Metallico, for a report of a suspicious car and when they arrived they found Rhonda Tubbs, 51, of Superior Avenue asleep behind the wheel of a running car.

Reports said Tubbs smelled like alcohol and had vomit on her mouth and shirt. Officers awakened her and said she smelled heavily of alcohol.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital to see if she had any injuries. A records check showed she had two warrants for driving under suspension in 2005 and 2007. She had a police hold placed on her at the hospital.
