Rep: Bonham Carter, Burton have split

LOS ANGELES

Longtime partners Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton have separated.

A spokeswoman for Bonham Carter confirmed Tuesday that the couple split earlier this year.

Publicist Melody Korenbrot says the two separated amicably “and have continued to be friends and co-parent their children.” She asked for privacy for the couple and their son and daughter.

Though Bonham Carter and Burton never married, they became creative and romantic partners after he directed her in 2001’s “Planet of the Apes.” Their other credits together include “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” “Alice in Wonderland” and “Dark Shadows.”

Knight hearing reset

LOS ANGELES

Death Row Records founder Suge Knight has appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom and rescheduled a hearing in his felony robbery case.

Knight made a brief appearance Tuesday, a day before he was set to attend a scheduling conference on a charge involving the theft of a camera in September.

Superior Court Commissioner Mark Zukman ordered Knight to return to court Jan. 27. Knight is accused along with comedian Katt Williams of stealing the camera from a photographer in Beverly Hills earlier this year.

Knight has pleaded not guilty. Williams is due in court for arraignment today.
