Trell Thomas scored 17 points and D.J. Anderson added nine for Mooney (4-0). Marlon Moore had 18 points and Justin Layne scored 14 for Benedictine (2-2).

GIRARD

Julian Lanier had 10 points and nine rebounds for Howland, while Jordan Lanier had 15 points and Luciano Romeo had 11. Chaston Williams had 16 points, Dylan O’Hara had 12 and Christian Bello scored 11 for Girard.

Springfield 67, Western Reserve 44

Graham Mincher scored 22 points in Springfield’s win over Western Reserve. Hunter Snyder added 15 points for the Tigers, while Lance DeZee led the Blue Devils with 20 points. Only four Blue Devils scored in the game.

Youngstown Christian 58, Lakeside 51

CORTLAND

Ryan Houston scored 24 points and DeVon Martin added 17 as Youngstown Christian beat Lakeside in the Lakeview Holiday Classic. Martin knocked down four 3-pointers, while Houston made 10 total field goals. Lakeside had just one player in double digits scoring.

Gilmour Academy 69, Cardinal Mooney 35

GATES MILLS

Renee Santisi scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds and Jaclyn Yankle had seven points and nine rebounds for Mooney (4-3). Marissa Finazzo had 31 points for Gilmour.

South Range 63, Lake Ridge 35

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Sara Durr scored a game-high 14 points and also grabbed 14 rebounds to lead South Range past Lake Ridge. Ashley Sharp and Markie Gabriel each added 12 points and Sharp recorded seven assists and seven steals for the Raiders (7-0). Lake Ridge (3-5) managed just 13 second-half points.

Girard 58, Mineral Ridge 51

MINERAL RIDGE

Ali Ciminero scored 17 points, including 13 in the first half and Dakota Naples added 15 for Girard, which outscored the Rams 20-9 in the fourth quarter. Makayla Trebella added 13 for the Indians (6-2). Alyssa Harkins had 15, Adrianna Reese had 12 and Peyton Allen 11 for the Rams.

LaBrae 51, Liberty 39

LIBERTY

Lauren Rutherford scored 18 points and Angelica Parker had 10 for LaBrae, which outscored Liberty 21-12 in the second quarter to take a 33-23 halftime lead. Marcy Dykes had 13 for Liberty and Amy Mikulich scored 10.

Mathews 48, Niles 42

NILES

Mathews got 15 points from Bryanna McClurg and 11 from Maddie Williams in a six-point win over Niles. Katrina Schubert added 10 points for the Mustangs. Both Amanda Blank and Ashley Cline scored 10 points for the Red Dragons.

Lucas Nasonti scored 20 points, Eric Karafa had 13 and Chris Miller 10 for Champion. For Bristol, Jaime Lope had 18 points and Alex Jones 14.

Kaitlyn Totani had 12 points, two steals and two blocks for Jackson-Milton (7-3, 3-2 ITCL Tier Two). Haley Lengyel added 10 points, while Ashley Totani had seven points, two steals and two blocks and Izzy Scarl had seven points and three assists. For Leetonia, Kristy Eckman scored 13 points.

Windham 73, McDonald 50

McDONALD

Brittany Knight had 25 points and 11 rebounds, Jessica Isler scored 23 points with eight assists and Dari Heller added 17 points and 12 rebounds for Windham, which outscored McDonald 42-25 in the second half. Sara Joseph scored 15 points with six rebounds to lead McDonald (3-5).

Salem 46, Western Reserve 45

SALEM

Chloe Cheresne scored 13 points and Olivia Stiff added 10 to help Salem hold off Western Reserve. Nine different girls scored for the Quakers, who were outscored 15-7 in the final quarter but still hung on to win. Tory White led the Blue Devils with 12 points and Rachel Maslach added 11.

Lisbon 69, Youngstown Christian 63

YOUNGSTOWN

Karlee Pezzano scored 31 points to lead Lisbon (4-4). Mackenzie Mason added 17. For YCS, Destinee Snyder scored 19 points and India Snyder had 16.

Taylor Kramar had 21 points and Hailee Logan had 12 for Badger (5-3). Emma Baugher led Southington had 19.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS

Seth Opladen scored three goals, Braden Falkingham had two goals and two assists for Canfield (4-4, 3-2 Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League) on Sunday. Noah Guerrieri, PJ Denney, Tony Cole, Mitchell Blasko and Logan Falkingham each added a goal.
