CAMPBELL

Police arrested Keri Jackson, 30, of Campbell on three misdemeanor charges of child endangering.

Police were called Saturday afternoon to a home on Coitsville Road for a welfare check by a neighbor saying Jackson was supposed to come to her home, but she had not shown up and no one could contact her. Three children were discovered alone in the house eating while the gas stove had two burners on, which appeared to be used to heat the house. Police contacted children services, and Jackson arrived about 15 minutes later.

Jackson was arrested at the scene with the children placed in temporary care.

She is scheduled for a court appearance at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
