Mark Hughes led the Irish (3-1 with 27 points) in the game at Walsh University. Greg Parella scored 19 points and Dave Collins 12.

Canfield 61, Perry 53

PERRY

Mike Yourstowsky scored all 14 of his points in the second half, including 7 of 8 from the free throw line, as Canfield (4-2) outscored Perry 40-24 over the final 16 minutes to win the championship of the four-team Perry Invitational. Jake Cummings added 13 points for the Cardinals, who made 27 of 36 at the line. Jackson Bradshaw led Perry (5-1) with 14 points.

Girard 55, Mineral Ridge 39

GIRARD

Dylan O’Hara scored 25 points and made 10 rebounds to lead the Indians (6-0). For the Rams, Albert Alli scored 14 points and Austin Reese 11.

Cardinal Mooney 65, Youngstown Christian 42

YOUNGSTOWN

Five Cardinals (3-0) scored in double figures: Jonny Durkin (15), Trell Thomas (14), Nick Bradich (13), D.J. Anderson (12) and Antonio Bruno (11). Anderson also pulled down 16 rebounds while Bruno made six assists. For the Eagles, Ryan Houston scored 18 points and made five rebounds. Jaquan Greene contributd 12 points and five rebounds.

BOARDMAN

Ashley Kaleel and Rachel Tinkey each scored 14 points for the Cardinals. Erin Risner scored 12. For the Spartans, Krista Johnson led with 20 points. Katie Platt scored 11 and Jenna Vivo 10.

Poland 43, Niles 34

POLAND

Emily Melnek led the Bulldogs (7-1, 5-1 All-American Conference White) with 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Amanda Blank scored 11 points to lead the Red Dragons. She also made five rebounds.

Howland 66, Fitch 43

AUSTINTOWN

Sara Price scored 20 points, Victoria Rappach had 15 and Alexis Ross had 12 to lead Howland (7-1). Allexis Sallee had 16 points for the Falcons (4-3).

Lakeview 63, Struthers 47

STRUTHERS

Abby Pavlik had 19 points, Annie Pavlansky scored 15 and Cammie Becker had 10 for Lakeview, which jumped out to a 17-7 lead after the first quarter. Caitlin Kane led Struthers (4-2, 3-2 AAC White) with 16 points and Preshus Brown added 12.

Dakota Naples scored 22 points with four steals and Ali Ciminero added 14 points and eight rebounds for Girard. Megan Payich had 10 points with five assists and four steals. Tatyana Nelko scored 10 points with seven rebounds for the Red Devils.

HUBBARD

Emily Manion led the Eagles with 17 points. Also scoring in double figures were Michelle Peachock with 13 and Logan Nitsche with 11. For the Falcons, E. Smock and J. Baker had 25 and 16 points, respectively.

NEWTON FALLS

Morgan Hansel scored 15 points and Miranda Sloan added 12 for Maplewood (7-2), which outscored Newton Falls 25-16 in the second half. Gabby Kline led the Tigers (6-1) with 17 points and 11 rebounds and Kayla Barreca had 10.

Brookfield 47, Champion 30

BROOKFIELD

Autumn Kirila scored 14 points and McKenzie Drapola added 10 in a Brookfield win. Molly Williams led Champion (3-4, 3-4 AAC Blue). The Warriors (4-2, 4-1) outscored Champion 27-11 in the second half.

Windham 64, LaBrae 45

WINDHAM

Jessica Isler scored a game-high 27 points, including four 3-pointers, to help Windham get past LaBrae. Brittany Knight and Dari Heller each added 14 points for the Bombers. Lauren Rutherford scored 15 to lead the Vikings.

Jackson-Milton 61, Lowellville 25

NORTH JACKSON

Kaitlyn Totani scored 15 points, Michaelina Terranova had 13 and Ashley Totani had 10 to lead the Bluejays (6-3, 3-2 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two). Faith Borer scored eight for the Rockets.

West Branch 75, Alliance 25

BELOIT

Melinda Trimmer scored 23 points and added eight assists and four steals for West Branch (7-0, 4-0 Northeastern Buckeye Conference), which led 21-2 after one quarter. Pavin Heath had 12 points and five rebounds and Emily Menegay had 11 points. Alliance is 4-4, 0-3.

Division III Classic

ATWATER

Columbiana’s Caleb Rupert won the 182-pound title at the Division III Classic at Waterloo High School. Chris Jones (152) and Tim Davin (285) each placed fourth.
