COLUMBUS

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources issued 15 horizontal drilling permits this month. Two of the permits were issued in Columbiana County, both to Hilcorp Energy Co. in Fairfield Township. There are a total of 1,700 permits issued with 1,258 drilled, and 704 producing.

BOARDMAN

RL Smith Graphics, a graphic design and communication company at 493 Bev Road, will be featured on an episode of Discovery Channel’s “Fat ’N Furious.”

The show follows the crew at Christmas Automotive in Boardman as it rebuilds muscle cars and gets them ready to drag-race.

RL Smith Graphics specializes in large-format printing for vehicles and buildings, and can do full and partial vehicle wraps, magnetic signs, vinyl lettering and window film. The company was contracted by Christmas Automotive Repair to do the work for the episode which will air at 10 p.m. on Discovery Channel’s Motor Monday block Feb. 23.
