YOUNGSTOWN

Volunteers and sponsors from Lawrence, Mercer and Mahoning counties collaborated on a coat drive hosted by Club Amazing of Youngstown, which took place Dec. 5. O’Connor’s Family Day Care of New Castle, Pa., reached out to Youngstown Academy of Excellence and Lawrence County Crisis Center and donated almost 100 coats.

More than 700 coats were donated and purchased with monetary gifts and were distributed in Youngstown and Lawrence and Mercer counties. Volunteers served hot chocolate, cookies and chili.
