YOUNGSTOWN

Krista Johnson had 24 points, seven rebounds and one steal to lead Boardman (2-4, 2-4 All-American Conference Red), while Jenna Vivo added 10 points, six reobunds and two steals. Tashaun Walls had 10 points, two assists, two steals and three blocks for East (1-5, 1-4).

Columbiana 78, Wellsville 39

COLUMBIANA

Baylie Mook scored 25 points with 10 steals and Brynn Pennell added 19 points for Columbiana (8-0, 5-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two). Emily Witmer scored 18 points in the win. Ashley Bennett led Wellsville with 16 points and Destiny Crow had 10 points.

Western Reserve 54, McDonald 42

BERLIN CENTER

Aleah Hughes had 20 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and three blocks for Western Reserve, which jumped out to a 19-8 lead after the first quarter. Sydney Miller and Tory White each added nine points and Lauren Falasca had five assists and two steals. Sarah Joseph had 24 points and Sam Homa had 10 for McDonald. JVs: McDonald 30-27.

Lowellville 34, Sebring 26

LOWELLVILLE

Emily Partika scored 12 points to lead Lowellville past Sebring. Sami Chiclowe added 10 points for the Rockets. Sydney Smith had a team-high 10 points for Sebring.

Springfield 50, United 44

HANOVERTON

Callie Ford scored 21 points and the Tigers (4-3) used a 13-6 fourth quarter to pull away from the Eagles. Kenzie Firth had 15 points and Jenna Plummer scored 14 for the Eagles (2-4).

Crestview 39, East Palestine 37

COLUMBIANA

Alexis Gates scored 10 points to help the Rebels (3-3) hold off the Bulldgos. The Rebels were helped by a 17-7 second quarter. Carson Rutledge led the Bulldogs with nine points.

LISBON

Izzy Scarl had 17 points to lead the Bluejays (5-3). Mackenzie Mason scored 12 points for the Blue Devils.

Grand Valley 71, Southington 43

Jessica Vormelker scored 20 points to lead the Mustangs (5-2). Courtney Warnick scored 17 points and Emma Baugher added 13 for the Wildcats.
