Police were called to the Highland Dairy, 722 N. Highland Ave, for a robbery in which a pregnant clerk was assaulted.

The clerk was on the phone at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday when two masked men came in. One jumped the counter and hit her in the head with the butt of a gun he was holding, she told police.
