UPDATE | No bomb found at Campbell Memorial High School

CAMPBELL — Campbell Memorial High School was cleared of a bomb threat less than an hour after the threat was received by city police at 5:53 p.m. today.

The building was evacuated while city police and fire personnel and the Youngstown Police Bomb Squad searched but found no bomb.

The building was cleared about 6:45 p.m., said Campbell Mayor William J. Van Such.

A basketball game between Campbell and Brookfield was canceled.

A school board meeting set for the high school was moved to an elementary school.
