Downtown lit up for the season

YOUNGSTOWN
111Over the years, all manner of holiday lights were displayed in the downtown area. Though they may not be the equal of those in New York City or Chicago, thousands of bright lights adorn the streets of Youngstown’s downtown this year.
At the center of the display is the city’s Christmas tree on Central Square, a 29-foot-tall, 18-foot-wide Colorado blue spruce decorated with colored lights and red bows. The tree came from the property of the Brandywine Apartments in Cornersburg.
The light display will remain through the holiday season, so if you’re out and about, take a drive though downtown and enjoy the lights of the season.
