Davis Family YMCA to host annual art show and sale

The Davis Family YMCA is accepting entries for its second annual Benefit Art Show & Sale set for Feb. 8, 2015.

Everyone is invited to donate up to four pieces of 5-by-5-inch square art.

The pieces will be offered for sale Feb. 8 through March 8. Proceeds will support scholarships for under-served children in the arts and humanities.

The art should not be framed, but needs to be created on a stiff surface that can hang on the wall, and art must be labeled on the back with the artist’s name and piece title.

The deadline for submissions is Jan. 18, and early entries are encouraged. Mail art to Suzanne Gray, Davis Family YMCA, 45 McClurg Road, Boardman, OH 44512, or drop it off at the service desk and include the entry form.
