Manofskys’ 60th honored with Danube cruise

FLAT ROCK, N.C.

The former Margaret Maxin and Bill Manofsky celebrated their 60th anniversary with a week-long Danube River cruise in October.

The couple met in Cortland in 1953 and were married Oct. 16, 1954, at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Warren. They were residents of Nashville for 50 years and have resided in Flat Rock for the past seven years.

Mrs. Manofsky worked for Vanderbilt University Medical Center Development in Nashville.

Mr. Manofsky worked for Murray Ohio Bicycle and Avco Aerostructures.

Their children are Larry (Jo Anne), Bill Jr. (Tori) and Suzie. Grandchildren are Laura (Sam) Olesky, Doug and Phillip.
