Slovak Folk Crafts to close permanently

GROVE CITY, PA.

Slovak Folk Crafts will close permanently by the end of the year because the financial climate is no longer conducive for this type of business, the owners said.

The business opened 14 years ago to help the people of Slovakia in the transition from a communist economy to a free-market economy.

The shop has offered handmade crafts from more than 200 Slovak artists and other crafts made by people from 30 other countries.

The store, at 1605 S. Center St. Ext. in Grove City, will have a going-out-of-business sale that includes 20 percent off all items.

The discount will increase as the sale progresses. All sales are final.

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
