A summary of recent criminal activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Dec. 1

Arrest: An initial response for a medical call in the 70 block of Winona Drive resulted in the arrest of Ronald Glass, 67, on a charge of physical control.

Dec. 2

Sick raccoon: Officers put down a sick raccoon at a home in the 70 block of Winona Drive.

Dec. 4

Drug abuse: Police arrested Nina Anerino, 32, of Brier Street, Warren, on a charge of drug abuse during a traffic stop.

AUSTINTOWN

Dec. 1

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Un Hui Wilcox, 51, of West Market Street, Warren, on a summons for disorderly conduct at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Jason Henninger, 36, of Kirk Road on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a theft charge and on a new theft charge at Rulli Bros., 4331 Kirk Road.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet was lost or stolen at Schwebel’s, 3800 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police arrested Laura Parsons, 29, of Cable Line Road, Diamond, on a charge of theft. Police said she took $95.72 in merchandise from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Two televisions and toys were taken from a home in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Identity theft: Multiple credit cards were opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Dec. 2

Warrant: Police arrested Benjamin Elise Jr., 57, of Steel Street, Youngstown, on a warrant for a traffic violation.

Warrant: Police arrested Robert White, 27, of Raccoon Road on a warrant charging failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Theft: A wallet with $2,200 and personal papers was stolen from Econolodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Yolanda Place.

Theft: Two Uniden hand-held police scanners were stolen from Radio Shack.

Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged during a road-rage incident at state Route 46 and Silica Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Charles Serafino, 58, of Hadley Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant on a charge of failure to comply after an incident of road rage in which his vehicle was damaged in the previously listed incident.

Burglary: Door locks were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Menacing: An incident of menacing was reported at AT&T, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 3

Theft: A suspect took merchandise at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., on Nov. 27 and Dec. 1.

Warrant: Police arrested Jason Datko, 39, of Bears Den Road, Youngstown, on a warrant charging him with menacing.

Menacing: A health care worker made verbal threats to a client at a home in the 500 block of London Court.

Theft: An Ohio historical plate left in a vehicle was stolen from a home in the 200 block of Rome Drive.

Theft: A man stole several cases of pop from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Dec. 4

Theft from auto: Money and medication were taken from an auto parked at Giant Eagle.

Theft: A PS4 video-gaming system was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Fraud: A male was scammed out of $2,000 at a home in the 2000 block of state Route 46.

Burglary: A television was taken from a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet was lost or stolen at KCQ Barbecue Co., 1520 S. Raccoon Road.

Burglary: A 32-inch television was taken from a home in the 40 block of Atlanta Avenue.

Theft: Police issued three summonses to Tanya Joseph, 48, of Edinburgh Drive, charging her with theft and possession of marijuana.

Dec. 5

Recovered property: A catalytic converter was recovered on Northwood Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Keith Bolen, 41, of Boardman Street, New Waterford, on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a complicity charge.

Theft: $180 was taken out of a purse at Walmart.

Auto theft: A 2006 Ford Explorer was stolen at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road.

Burglary: A rear door was forced open and jewelry was taken at a home in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested JaQwane Johnson, 19, of Southern Boulevard, Warren, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Criminal Damaging: A handle was broken at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Dec. 6

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Michael Del Shon Porterfield, 25, of Parkwood Drive, Warren, charging him with possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Theft: $609 was removed from a bank account of a person living in the 3000 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Tiffaney Laborzan, 22, of Deer Creek Court, Canfield, charging her with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Crystal Repich, 18, of South Price-town Road, Berlin Center, charging her with the theft of merchandise at Walmart.

Dec. 7

Theft: Tarps were taken off a trailer at the TA Travel Center, 540 Seventy-Six Drive.

Assault: An assault was reported at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass Square.

Aggravated menacing: A repossession man was met by the car’s owner with a gun at a home in the 60 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken at a home in the 20 block of North Wickliffe Circle.

Aggravated menacing: A suspect pulled a gun on a man at a home in the 3000 block of Staatz Drive.
