Man jumps from moving car on Route 11

NORTH LIMA

A 19-year-old Ashtabula County man was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital Saturday morning after jumping from a moving car.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Canfield Post said Lucas Laurenty of Austinburg was in the back seat of a car driven by a 17-year-old girl. Two other 17-year-olds, a female in the backseat and a male in the front, were traveling southbound about 9:45 a.m. on state Route 11 when the two backseat occupants began to argue.

Laurenty jumped from the car, the patrol said. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
