Jennifer Hallos of Rocky River, Ohio, and Mark Loan of Elyria, Ohio, exchanged vows June 28 at St. James Church. The Rev. David Merzweiler officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

A reception followed at Youngstown Country Club in Liberty.

Her parents are Michael and JoEllen Hallos of Berlin Center, and his parents are Michael and Laura Loan of Elyria.

The bride wore a soft white organza ball gown with a ruched bodice featuring a sweetheart neckline embellished with Swarovski crystals and a crystal brooch.

Jenelle Wolfe, the bride’s sister, was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristy Schoeck, Amy Franczkowski, Melissa Perez, Mikah Konst, Ashley Plummer, Barbaralee Anker-Mariano and Kim Thomas. Sydney White, the bride’s cousin, was the flower girl. The attendants wore plum-colored dresses.

Brother of the groom, John Loan, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mike Chapman, Marty Koch, Brad Bott, Matt Kendeigh, Stephen Radachi, Kevin Machovina and Brandon Thomas. Connor Wolfe, nephew and godson of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Ushers were Michael Colella; Jeff Smith, cousin of the groom; and Joel Wolfe, brother-in-law of the bride.

The bride graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and earned a master’s degree in taxation and a juris doctorate from University of Akron. She is a certified public accountant and is an associate with Walter/Haverfield LLP in Cleveland.

The groom graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering technology. He is a network administrator for Sprenger Health Care Systems in Lorain.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, the couple reside in Elyria.
