Food-delivery worker robbed at gunpoint in Warren

WARREN — A food-delivery worker for the Rig, 9421 E. Market St., was robbed of cash and food at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday on Draper Street in the Fairview Gardens neighborhood.

The driver said he was waved down by a man in the housing complex parking lot and thought he was the customer who ordered the food.

The suspect pointed a gun at the driver and ordered him to put his money in the bag along with the food and leave. The worker did as he was ordered, then got back in his car and returned to the restaurant, he told police.
