Campbell police arrest man for drug possession after traffic stop


CAMPBELL — Police arrested John Jenkins, 28, of Youngstown on a felony charge for possession of drugs, and two misdemeanor charges for possession of drugs.

Police pulled over Jenkins' car Wednesday night after a traffic violation. Police searched the vehicle and found 14.8 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana, 1.5 grams of heroin, two pill bottles containing a total of 62 tramadol pills.

Jenkins was booked and transported to the Mahoning County jail pending a Dec. 12 court appearance.
