Fitch teacher's smartphone stolen

AUSTINTOWN — An Austintown Fitch High School teacher’s iPhone was stolen Tuesday morning at school.

According to a police report, the teacher left her smartphone on the desk of her classroom and closed the door, but did not lock it, and went and taught in another classroom for first period. That was from 7:40 to 8:40 a.m. Tuesday.

She came back to find the phone missing and alerted authorities.
