YSU's FY 2015 budget plan would be reduced by $5.2 million


YOUNGSTOWN

Through a combination of eliminating unfilled vacancies, improving retention by 1 percent and reducing operating expenses, Youngstown State University expects to reduce by $5.2 million the fiscal year 2015 budget plan.

The two-year plan was presented today at a trustees’ finance and facilities committee meeting. Another roughly $5 million will have to be cut for fiscal 2016 to balance the structural operating budget of the university.
