UPDATE | Charges filed in Ellwood City homicide

ELLWOOD CITY, PA. — Homicide charges were filed this afternoon against the ex-wife of the victim of a fatal beating and against her son, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Lisa Marie Jones-Orock, 40, and her son, Zachary Jones, 22, both of Ellwood City, were arrested in the death of Gerald Lee Orock Jr., 57, of Fombell, Pa., who was found at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, lying in the parking lot of Loccisano’s Golden Dawn.

The suspects lured the victim to that location and attacked him with a wooden club, after a long-running domestic dispute between the victim and his ex-wife, state police said.

The victim was assaulted in the loading dock area and succumbed to his injuries at the scene, state police said.
