CANFIELD
Nov. 18
Passing bad checks: Police arrested Michael Bilas, 54, of Beard Road, New Springfield, on two counts of passing bad checks in September.
Nov. 21
Warrant: James Frantz, 28, of West Heights Avenue, Youngstown, surrendered to police on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.
Nov. 24
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested Demetrius Tinker, 34, of Shirley Road, Youngstown, on charges of drug paraphernalia as well as for failing to appear in court on a Youngstown warrant.
Theft: Police arrested Anthony Salem Jr., 28, of Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, on theft charges.

Nov. 24
Criminal damaging: A car’s tire was slashed at a home in the 70 block of South Roanoke Avenue.
Warrant: Police arrested Courtney Reynolds, 31, of Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge, and for criminal trespassing at Boak & Sons, 75 Victoria Road. Also charged with criminal trespassing was Erika Fuller, 32, of Pittsburgh.
Burglary: An iPad was taken from a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Nov. 25
Warrant: Police arrested Shire Dickerson, 24, of Woodbine Avenue, Struthers, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.
Theft: A 12-inch circular saw was stolen at Rental Corral, 5020 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Mail-ordered prescription pills were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.
Theft: Money was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.
Theft: Money was taken from a home in the 700 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A credit card was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Fairmeadow Drive.
Nov. 26
Criminal damaging: A car tire was punctured when parked at a home in the 90 block of Kenmar Court.
Warrant: Police arrested Christian Murray, 19, of North Wickliffe Circle, on a warrant for assault.
Nov. 27
Lost or stolen property: A checkbook and papers were stolen from an individual at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A GPS system was stolen from an auto parked at Walmart.
Nov. 28
Theft: A catalytic converter was stolen from an auto parked at Auto Giant, 4120 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Samara Fant, 32, of East Judson Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on traffic charges, failure to comply and disobeying a lawful order.
Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Samuel Tush, 20, of Bainbridge Avenue, on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant: Police arrested Jason Henweger, 36, of Canfield-Niles Road, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a theft charge.
Burglary: Entry was gained through the bedroom window and a purse was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Burglary: Entry was gained possibly through an unlocked door at a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue and a wallet was taken.
Criminal damaging: A residence was spray painted in the 3000 block of Oakwood Ave.
Nov. 29
ID theft: Fraudulent charges were made on a Kohl’s card that belonged to a person living in a home in the 5000 block of Cherrywood Court.
Warrant: Police arrested Jason Eaton, 18, of South Raccoon Road on a warrant for grand theft.
Nov. 30
Theft: A cellphone and $100 were taken from a home in the 5000 block Oakcrest Drive.
Recovered property: A vehicle stolen in Austintown was recovered by Youngstown police.
Warrant: Police arrested Anthony Elder, 44, of North Richview Avenue, on a warrant for failure to appear in court to answer a charge he stole toilet paper valued at $9.99 from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An employee’s wallet was stolen at Papa John’s, 1502 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Police issued summons to Kursten Sorrell, 19, of North Kimberly Avenue, Christopher Beaman, 22, of North Kimberly, and George Coone III, no age given, of Maplecrest Drive, on theft charges. Police said they took $228.54 in merchandise from Walmart.
Theft: An unidentified man is accused of a theft at Rainbow Shops,6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A total of $559.48 in unauthorized charges were made on a credit card that belonged to person who lives at a home in the 1000 block of Westwind Place.
