FUNDRAISING
Tony Perrone has been selected as the director of donor engagement for Shepherd’s Foundation, the fundraising support arm for Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, 5525 Silica Road, Austintown. Perrone graduated from Bowling Green University with a bachelor of science in education. Before joining Shepherd of the Valley, Perrone served The Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown as its executive director and Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority as special projects coordinator.
Health care
Columbus-based Home Town Urgent Care promoted Scott Franklin to director of strategic partnerships. Franklin has been affiliated with Urgent Care since 2011. The company has two health care facilities in the local area, one in Boardman and one in Warren. Franklin graduated from Canfield High School in 1981.
oil and gas
Joseph Hamrock will become the CEO of NiSource Inc. after its planned separation from Columbia Pipeline Group Inc. in mid-2015. Hamrock is the executive vice president and group CEO of NiSource’s Gas Distribution business unit. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Youngstown State University. Hamrock is a registered professional engineer in Ohio and serves as a trustee for many organizations, including the Youngstown State University STEM College Advisory Council.
