Jawalen Shaw led East with 23 points and 14 rebounds and Darion Taylor had 13 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Malik Marrow added 10 points, two rebounds and two steals for the Panthers, who outscored Howland 16-11 in the fourth quarter. Julian Lanier led the Tigers with 20 points, five rebounds and two steals and Jordan Lanier had 11 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Ray Phifer scored 23 points and Austin Yemma added 20 for Struthers, which outscored Edgewood 37-20 in the second half. Andrew Carbon scored 17 for the Wildcats. For Edgewood, Eli Kalil had 33 points.

James Jackson scored 17 points to lead three Jefferson players in double figures and the Falcons outscored Niles 24-15 in the fourth quarter to rally. Sam Caskey added 16 points and Sam Hitchcock had 14 in the win. For Niles, Cameron Kane scored 30 and Leonard Bryant had 13.

Ryan Houston scored 18 points and Devon Martin added 10 to lead Youngstown Christian, which led 20-6 after the first quarter. JaQuan Green and Shawn Staples each added 10 points for the Eagles. For EP, Ryan Kemp had seven points.

Trey Toothman scored a game-high 22 points for Salem. DJ Pullie added 11 points and Matt Weingart had nine for the Quakers (1-0). Garrett Anderson led the Raiders (0-1) with 10 points.

Josh Liberati had 23 points and Austin Rutecki had 18 for Lisbon. Josh Craig also had 16 points for the Blue Devils (1-0), who had 50 points in the first half. Trent Ferry scored 20 points on 15-of-19 from the free throw line for the Bears (0-1).

Andrew Russell had 15 points and six rebounds, Dominick Michael had 11 points and Troy Holden had 10 to lead Southern, which rallied back from a 17-9 deficit after the first quarter. Eric Lloyd scored 15 to lead the Rebels, while Elijah McCallum had 13 and Aaron Muntean 10.

After Badger’s Garrett Kellogg hit the game-tying 3-pointer with five seconds left, Mathews drove the length of the floor, finding Bryan Oatridge on the right wing for the game-winning 3 at the buzzer. Tom Sharp led the Mustangs with 17 points, Oatridge and Clay O’Dell each had 11 and Davey Gollan had 10. For Badger, Daniel Shuttleworth had 17 points, Hunter Hall had 16 and Kellogg finished with nine.
