Man appears in Campbell court on drug charges

Police arrested Wesley White, 67, of Edinburg, Pa. on felony charges of possessing cocaine and misdemeanor charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia just after midnight today at Blaze Oil on McCartney Road. Police pulled White over for rolling through a stop sign by the Blaze Oil. Police suspected there were drugs in White's vehicle and found 0.6 grams of cocaine wrapped in paper towels. Police also found 1.9 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag.

White was transported to the Mahoning County Jail this morning without bond before his appearance in front of the Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. today.

The judge said there is probable cause that White is guilty. He set a preliminary hearing for White for 9 a.m. Dec. 12.
