U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is traveling to Cleveland to talk about building trust between law enforcement and communities.

Holder will be in Cleveland today for the second in a series of regional meetings aimed at easing tensions between police departments and minority communities.

President Barack Obama had asked Holder to lead the initiative after clashes between protesters and police in Ferguson, Mo.

The Justice Department has been investigating Cleveland’s police department’s pursuit and use of force policies since a 2012 police chase ended with the killing of two unarmed people. Six officers were indicted in the shooting.

Protesters in Cleveland blocked a freeway last week after an officer shot and killed a 12-year-old boy holding a pellet gun. Police later said the officer thought the gun was real.
