Christmas Tree Walk set at Greenbriar

BOARDMAN

Greenbriar's Christmas Tree Walk will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Dec. 22 at the Greenbriar Healthcare Center, 8064 South Ave.

Greenbriar worked with the Boadman Wal-Mart to receive 20 discounted trees for the event. Area businesses had the opportunity to sponsor and decorate a tree in the facility and each tree has a theme.

Each tree will be raffled off and winners will take home a fully decorated tree. Winners will be announced Dec. 22.

Raffle tickets can be purchased from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. For every $1 raised, $15 worth of food can be purchased. Greenbriar's goal is to raise $2,500, equaling $37,500 worth of food. The money raised will go toward the BackPack Program.
