Salem library plans open house

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will offer an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday to share the user friendly, energy efficient renovation projects that have recently been completed.

Areas that have been renovated are the Children’s Department, which has become a hands-on learning environment; the lobby, redone for energy efficiency; and the Adult Circulation Department, featuring a larger area for reading.

The open house will include games, refreshments and giveaways. For information call the library at 330-332-0042.
