Niles FOP lodge will provide Christmas dinner for seniors

Niles F.O.P. Lodge 27 will provide a free Christmas dinner for the senior citizens of Niles.

The dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center.

Patrolman Mike Biddlestone, president of Niles FOP, organized the event as the annual winter project. He is a nine-year veteran of the police force.

The senior center will prepare the food, and some of the Niles police officers and staff will help serve the meal.

Everyone attending must get a ticket in advance.
