BAZAARS
Girard Junior Women will host a Christmas bazaar 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Girard gymnasium at the city building. Santa Claus will arrive by firetruck at 11 to greet children. Parents and caregivers are advised to take a camera for photos of their children with Santa. Holiday face painting, Christmas cookies and a holiday gift shop will be available. CRAFT SHOWS
Bazetta-Cortland Optimist Club will host a Christmas Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Candlelite Knolls, 2619 Hoagland Blackstub Road, Warren. Also featured will be a basket auction with more than 40 items donated by local crafters. More than 50 of the best artisans will be on hand. Homemade haluski and desserts will be for sale, and a $1 donation buys a chance to win $10,000.
Canfield High School Seniors will sponsor a 26th annual craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school, 100 Cardinal Drive. Funds from the event allow the students to sponsor two dances, graduation and contribute to local charities. Over 240 vendor spaces are available. Santa will entertain children from 2 to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free. A shuttle service will be offered from area parking lots. Clarks Mills United Methodist Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills, Pa., will be the site of craft, bake and rummage sales, a basket auction and lunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will feature homemade soups, pies, sandwiches, etc., and soup also will be sold by the quart. Christmas decorations, toys, jewelry and household items will be available.

Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has winter fashions available, new and used for the entire family or for gift giving. Holiday clothing will be 50 percent off. Also, patrons can sign up for a door prize. The closet is open each Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

St. Michael Church, 300 N. Broad St., Canfield, will host its ninth annual parish Wine Taste Feb. 6 in the Family Life Center. Proceeds will benefit the Center. For information, contact the parish office at 330-533-6839.
TRIPS
New Hope United Methodist Church Youth Group, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, is sponsoring a bus trip to Oglebay Festival of Lights on Dec. 14. The bus will leave at 1:30 p.m. and return around 9. The cost is $75 for adults and $35 for kids 12 and under. The price includes dinner at the lodge, Good Zoo Laser Light Show, garden shop and the tour of lights.
