Winterfest dance is Wednesday in Girard

GIRARD — The 14th annual special needs “Winterfest” dance will be 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mahoning Country Club, 710 Liberty St.

The dance is open to all high-school age students with multiple, orthopedic and/or developmental disabilities. It is well-chaperoned by staff, security and student helpers. The location is large enough to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers or other mobility devices.

A “Snow Princess” and “Snow Prince” will be crowned. Dinner is included. There is no cost for the participating students.
