Jury selection begins in case of former MYCAP chief

YOUNGSTOWN - Jury selection began this morning for the trial of Richard A. Roller, 50, of Colonial Drive, former executive director of the Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership.

Roller is on trial before Judge Shirley Christian of the Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Roller is charged with theft in office, grand theft, having an unlawful interest in a public contract and soliciting or receiving improper compensation during his MYCAP tenure.
