Holiday arts, crafts sale returns to the Butler

The Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave., will present its 44th annual American Holiday arts and crafts show and sale Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission is $5 (free for children under 12).
This event funds the Butler’s free admission policy, as well as its public programs.
The show and sale will again feature some of the best in fine art and original, one of a kind crafts.
A variety of vendors will present items for holiday gift-giving, including painting, photography, jewelry, paper, ceramics, fragrances, wood, leather, fiber, food, horticulture, and decorative arts.

Vendors include:
Melissa Gray (Richlands, N.C.), who returns with felting, hand spun/dyed yarns and fiber sculpture.
Debbie Dory (North Lima), a show favorite, again presenting her live decorated boxwood trees, centerpieces and decorations.
Ruth Jennings (Brookfield), who is world-renowned for her Faberge-style egg creations, and has been a regular at the Butler holiday event for many years.
Ron Meade (Sharpsville, Pa.), who is known for his hand-tooled leather work, which is dyed, shaded and inlaid with rich color.
William Morrison (Grove City, Pa.), who creates wooden toys, benches, shelves, doll furniture and more. His highly collectible work has been included in the Butler show for many years.
Paul McClain (Mansfield), who will present one- of-a-kind fine-art paintings inspired by the landscape of his hometown.
