Wrays celebrate golden milestone at family dinner

AUSTINTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wray of Austintown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 29 with a family dinner at Springfield Grille in Boardman. Their children and their spouses hosted the celebration.

The couple have five children: Robert (Brenda) Wray of Warsaw, N.C.; Dave (April) Wray of Suffolk, Va.; Sandi (Gary) Barnes of Mineral Ridge; Rick (Chaille) Wray of McDonald; and Shaun (Lora) Wray of Austintown. They also have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wray, the former Barbara Purdue, is a homemaker. She is involved in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and serves as a leader for both.

Mr. Wray retired in 2007 from Leaseway Motor- freight of Lordstown, where he was a car hauler.

The Wrays were married Aug. 29, 1964, at Roy Rogers Chapel in the Canyon in Canoga Park, Calif.
