Tippecanoe Golf Classic will help fund hospice care

CANFIELD
An inaugural event, the Tippecanoe Golf Classic will take place Sept. 15 at Tippecanoe Country Club, 5870 Tippecanoe Road, and all proceeds will benefit Hospice of the Valley.
The cost of $125 per person entitles the participant to 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner and prizes.
Registration, driving range and lunch begin at 11 a.m., and the scramble and shotgun start begin at noon.
A cocktail hour at 5 p.m. will precede a buffet dinner.
Anyone who wants to attend only the dinner and festivities can do so for $40.
Sponsorship opportunities are available as well as hole sponsors.
Participants who shoot a hole in one will win a lease on a new car.
Auction item donations are welcome.
Dr. Marty Raupple is serving as honorary chairman for the event. Bob Ferraro, president of the country club’s board of directors, is the event chairman along with committee members Liz McGarry, Leslie Coalmer, Diane Ross, Nancy Sullivan, Louann Sutton-Kutlick, Jill Mayfield and Andy Zabel.
Hospice of the Valley offers end-of-life care to those with a terminal illness as well as support to the family members.
