‘Ending Well’ is theme of free series

GIRARD

First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, will offer a free series, “Ending Well,” focusing on aging and end-of-life issues including legal matters, financial planning, resources for aging people and their families, medical topics, retirement living options, Alzheimer’s disease, hospice, funerals and memorial services.

Sessions will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 14, 21 and 28 and Oct. 5. Seating is limited.

On the panel will be Kathy Blackstone of Blackstone Funeral Home, Dorothy Barto of Alzheimer’s Network, attorney Charlene Rusu of Lane and Rusu, Jamie Mash Ervin of Park Vista Retirement Center, Dr. Benjamin Hayek of Primary HealthCare Associates, Frank Snyder of Wells Fargo Advisors, Diane Garthwaite of Tridia Hospice and Lisa Solley of Area Agency on Aging.
