Wine, Dine & Groove heading to Stambaugh

The second annual Chocolate, Wine, Dine & Groove is planned from 7 to 11 p.m. Sept. 27 at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave. The casual-attire event will benefit Sojourner House Domestic Violence Program.

The party will have guests trying appetizers by Ottavio of Station Square and chocolate desserts by a host of local vendors. Music will be provided by the House Band.

Tickets cost $45 if purchased before Sept. 15. Tickets bought at the door will cost $60. Of each ticket, $24 is tax-deductible. To charge by phone call 330-782-5664 ext. 1119.

Included in the ticket price are soft drinks, beer and wine and the following menu:

• Italian Antipasto: spicy capicola, sopressata and prosciutto di Parma from Italy with tangy olives and various aged cheeses.

• Stuffed Spinach & Artichoke Rangoon: with a savory sweet and spicy sauce and homemade marinara sauce.

• Three Italian Cheese Tri-colored Tortellini: tossed in a homemade basil pesto sauce.

• Mild Italian Sausage, Pepper and Onion Skewers: marinated in red wine, garlic and rosemary.

• Mouth-watering Vegetarian Grape Leaves: hand rolled.

• Herb Crusted, Sliced Roast Beef: with choice of rosemary asiago or pumpernickel ciabatta bread, topped with a zesty horseradish sauce.

• Bite-size Vegetarian Lasagna: with fresh, savory ricotta and fire-grilled seasonal vegetables.

• Caprese Skewers: mozzarella, fresh basil and vine ripe grape tomatoes drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

• Crudite Fresh From the Garden: with a zesty olive oil and lemon dipping sauce.

• Bite-size Eggplant Parmesan: with provolone and fresh marinara for dipping.

Sponsorship opportunities follow:

• Band sponsor (only one available), $3,000. Eight tickets to the event plus a reserved table for eight, your logo/name displayed on stage with the band, your logo displayed in a full color “Thank You” Business Journal ad and mentions at the event.

• Chocolate Aficionado, $1,000. Six tickets plus a reserved table for six, your logo displayed in the newspaper ad, your logo on a “Thank You Sponsors” sign at the event.

• Foodie Fan, $500. Four tickets to the event, your name displayed in the newspaper ad, your name on sponsors sign at the event.

• Groovin’ Giver, $250. Two tickets to the event, your name displayed in the newspaper ad, your name on the sponsors sign at the event.

• Delightful Donation (you name the amount), your name on the sponsors sign at the event.
