“The Sound of Music,SDRq directed by Jim McKim, New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa., auditions 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 7 and 8 in the main auditorium. Roles available for kindergarten through adult. Actors are asked to be prepared to sing a vocal selection and provide sheet music for the accompanist; auditionees also may sing a cappella or use an accompaniment CD with no vocal track.
